Last weekend was the last day of my BA20 classes as well as my birthday weekend..... pretty sad coz classes have ended...I think I will miss APMI Kaplan and Centrepoint's food...especially the kueh tutu we oh so loved from the Cold Storage...
Saturday just felt so weird...we all knew that classes were gonna end soon and that would be the last we would meet...well r'ships are formed and are developed over time...like me and my mates...we all had different opinions of each other...but who knew by having a multi-racial group, we turned out to be the best last minute planners…rushing to do our presentations on the last day…trying to cram different personalities into a 15 min presentation so as to not let anyone feel left out… AD’s last minute creativity, Ras’s excellent PowerPoint skills, Veron’s in-depth research and not forgetting out adopted member Joanna’s ability to blend into our group and able to tie everything together…
though we had our differences, we never let it affect our group and we all knew that if there is something that we have a problem with, voicing it out and thrashing out other alternatives and solutions would be the way to go…I’ve worked in many groups but somehow in this group, we seemed to complement each other and that was the most amazing part…we knew we could always count on each other for support, be it for studies or personal life…
I really thank god for Veron, Joanna and Debbie for putting some sense into me when I was going through a bad patch…we were the noisiest and we told to shut up in all the classes…Every lecturer must have remembered our group way too well……
let’s not forget Mr. K.L…Mr. Enthusiast……calling and emailing us to remind us about school…appearing in classes on the 1st day of each module in his one and only suit…constantly serving the nation….I now can sleep in peace…
I’m still pretty unsure whether I should do my master’s as of yet…. I think
I would give myself a few more years then decide….office work is really tough and if I were to my master’s now…I would really crack……I guess it now time to concentrate on my guiding exams which is on the 2nd June… I will be getting the itinerary on the 26th of this month…I can’t wait for this to be over…
Moving on to my birthday, my classmates wanted to surprise me by buying me a cake but I was with them all the time so they could not do anything…Mr. K.L then came in with some cakes and I had to hold that and pose…
the touching part of that was that the class sang “Happy Birthday”…I was like “aaaaawwwwww”… it was uber sweet of them…I normally surprise them on their birthdays when they are during class times, like Debbie’s and Veron’s and now they surprised me…I was really touched and honored…though a little embarrassed but they put a huge smile on my face…
after class, Luke was supposed to pick me up, but being new in Singapore, he got lost…finally managed to meet him at Golden Mile…we went out for dinner at Brewerkz…which for the record, sucked big time…the food wasn’t up to our expectations…
the company was great though…
we then walked over the bridge and off to TCC for some coffee…I was having a good time… We left Clarke Quay as we were tired and I reached home at about 10……managed to catch” 2 Weeks Notice”……always seemed to miss the movie for god knows whatever reason……somehow, I didn’t feel like going out and it was Saturday and not forget the eve of my birthday……at 12 midnight, my brother came in with this huge cookies and cream Swenson’s’ cake and on it there 2 big candles and 1 small candle…mom and bro said that no matter how old I get, I would be always 21 in their hearts……now aren’t they the sweetest????Veron messaged and wished me and so did my other friends……I slept at about 3.30am…no I did not go out at all……was watching Hindi movies…
the next day Mohan asked me out for a movie……we went to watch Harold & Kumar Escape from Guantanamo Bay……it was kinda weird……I mean Mohan is my MBF…and we have discussed stuff before…but watching it was kinda weird…after the movie, I met up with Luke and we went off for dinner…… Mohan could not join us so it was just the both of us…we went off to Billy Bombers and this time the food was good…I didn’t have any as I was full from the huge cheesy hotdog but Luke enjoyed his food… he bought me a beautiful necklace…it was awesome…while I had 2 “sex-on-the-beach” cocktail……
we headed of to Gotham after that…we took the train and boy was it crowded……reached Gotham and we ordered wine……the objective of the night was to get myself drunk and trust me…it didn’t take long……
Subash and his friend came for awhile and we had a good time……Luke was enjoying the attention around him until I came over…I guess most of them assumed that I was his girlfriend and we didn’t bother correcting anyone……we left shortly as I was pretty high and didn’t wanna drink……
met my other brother and both of them a had good time talking to each other…kinda figured……they both love the same kind of music……headed back to his place coz I was in no condition to go home……super embarrassing coz he was commenting about me snoring and sleeping with my eyes half opened……hahahahaha…anyway told him that I was way too smashed……
left his place at about 6 plus and reached home in time to watch “Dr. Do Little 2”……caught up with my Monday Night Laughs on Star World as well as my Hindi dramas on Zee……my flu was getting worse so I popped 2 pills and decided to read (realized that I have not read for a long time and all of my books that are left on my shelves are my academic stuff)……fell asleep shortly……woke up the next morning and the flu thingy was getting better at all……decided to take the day off and went to the doctor’s……apparently I had caught some kinda flu bug and needed a jab……brought home loads of meds to take…haiz……I think I gotta change my multivitamins……they ain’t helping……in fact I’m falling sick more often……
I feel much better and think that I was reading too much into stuff………in fact I think that my life’s gonna take on a new direction and I am looking forward to it……am not gonna dwell into what people think of me coz I think I have wasted too much time in that………It’s now gonna be about what I think is right and doing what I know is right……… I gotta get back to work now………

I know many of you have been wondering about this new character in my life, Luke, and many have made the assumption that he is my boyfriend and all that so I am gonna set the record straight once and for all…Luke is my friend and we are JUST FRIENDS… if anything were to happen, I promise you guys would be the second to know(my family and friends come first)…
